Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What types of pottery do you offer? I offer a variety of handcrafted pottery items including vases, bowls, mugs, plates, and custom pieces. Each item is unique and reflects the artist’s personal style and technique.

Can I request a custom pottery piece? At this time I'm not accepting custom orders.

How are your pottery pieces made? My pottery is hand-built using slabs, coils, or pinching techniques and sometimes hand-thrown on a potter’s wheel. I use high-quality clay and glazes, and each piece is fired in a kiln to ensure durability.

Is your pottery food safe? Yes, all functional pottery is glazed with food-safe materials and is safe for use with food and beverages.

Can pottery pieces be used in the microwave or dishwasher? Most pottery is microwave and dishwasher safe. However, I recommend hand washing to extend the life of your pottery.

Do you offer pottery classes or workshops? I offer classes and workshops for beginners. Please contact me directly for more information.

What is your return policy? I accept returns and exchanges. We are a small business and I work hard to help you know how and what to buy that may work the best for you. That being said, if you are unhappy with your order I will accept a return and refund your purchase. I do not pay for return shipping or refund original shipping charges.

If you are sending a package back to us please be sure to pack each piece carefully, just like it came to you. I cannot refund or exchange for wares that break in shipping due to poor packaging on your part. If you need packing instructions, please reach out to me.

How can I care for my pottery? To care for your pottery, avoid sudden temperature changes, and do not use it on an open flame or stovetop. Hand washing is recommended to maintain the finish.

Where can I view and purchase your pottery? My pottery can be viewed and purchased online through my website. I also participate in local art fairs and exhibitions, where you can see my pieces in person.
